Introducing DataSure®4.0 and Wireless Tools
DataSure 4.0 Data Collection System is the most comprehensive and scalable data acquisition system on the market.
Securely transfer data over a multitude of ranges - whether it's from one tool or 100 tools -to a desktop, tablet or
mobile phone app. This system can connect to electronic tools with output already In your possession, be they Starrett
or mm-Starrett brand. As well. the DataSure 4.0 family includes rechargeable Micrometers, Calipers, and Indicators with
built-in wireless connectivity.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
Backpack Radio/End Node
This small, rechargeable box plugs into electronic tools lacking wireless output to give them wireless connectivity. Connectors are available for Starrett and non-Starrett tools alike. Data can be communicated up to 200 feet.

USB Gateway
The short range solution for wireless data transmission, the USB Gateway allows data transmission from up to 20 tools at a range of 30-200 feet (depending on type of tools connected).

Remote Gateway

SYSTEM CUSTOMIZATION
DataSure 4.0 is designed to be highly scalable as to create an appropriate solution for your work environment. Not all DataSure 4.0 components are necessary to complete a functioning system.
At its simplest, DataSure 4.0 can exist between a Wireless Tool and our free mobile app(available on the App store for Apple and Android users). In this scheme, data can be transmitted up to 30 feet. The mobile app can connect to a maximum of 8 tools at once. Electronic tools with SPC output and connected to End Nodes will transmit data to the app up to 200 feet.
If more tool connectivity is needed, a Gateway can be added to the system. One USB Gateway enables up to 20 tools (wireless tools and non-wireless tools with end nodes attached) to connect at a time and transmit data simultaneously. Wireless Tools with built-in connectivity can transmit over 30 feet, while electronic tools with SPC output and End Nodes can transmit up to 200 feet.
More tools and distance can be added to a system with the inclusion of a Remote Gateway and a Bridge. In conjunction, these will add thousands of feet to the distance of your data transmission.
Addin an antenna, such as the Yagi, will allow data transmission over a matter of miles.
The amount of tools that can be added to a DataSure 4.0 system is limitless- expand your system at any time to accommodate the growth of your operation.
